Turn Your Smartphone become Webcam



Because of COVID-19 Virus, many student and worker have to stay at home study or work.  And most of then require a Webcam, but in the market recently webcam is out of stock. 

Here has a solution to it, we can use our smartphone camera as a webcam for PC. 

DroidCam is a free APP/Software to do it.

System: Android | Windows

Download: Google Play | PC Client

You have to download and install it on phone and PC and both devices must in the same network.

1.
After installed DroidCam on phone, you will get an IP address of your phone.

DroidCam will show your phone IP address

Open DroidCam Client on PC, key in the IP address of your phone. If you need the smartphone as mic too, tick the "Audio" then click start.

Now the DroidCam Client will show up the image from your phone. Default is using the phone back camera


4.
If you want to use the phone front camera, you have to set on the phone. On DroidCam there, click the upside Camera Icon and change it to "Front".

5.
If you using Zoom or Google Meet but the camera image is not showing up, make sure in the setting there have using DroidCam as the default camera.
